　　ARC Group is actively seeking a skilled Senior DBA SQL Server Administrator to join our team in Downtown Jacksonville, Florida. The position commences in February 2024 at our office, offering a contract-to-hire arrangement. Initially, the role involves a minimum of 6 months working with our agency, followed by the opportunity to transition into a full-time employee.

　　As the Senior DBA SQL Server Administrator, your primary responsibilities will encompass the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of crucial SQL Server RDBMS systems. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the availability and consistent performance of the company's applications.

　　To be considered for this role, candidates must possess permanent work authorization without requiring sponsorship, both currently and in the future. Please note that this position is not eligible for C2C arrangements, and brokering options are not available.

　　Responsibilities of the Senior DBA SQL Server Administrator:

　　Oversee SQL Server databases across lifecycle stages, ensuring smooth transitions.Configure and maintain database servers for optimal efficiency, availability, and security.Apply data modeling for integration and performance expectations.Independently troubleshoot and resolve real-time issues.Enhance and automate processes, assist with query tuning, and refine schemas.Provide 24x7 support, perform maintenance, and deploy releases.Conduct periodic database restoration for backup effectiveness.Implement changes for stored procedures and new SQL Servers.Serve as an IT subject-matter expert and proactively maintain infrastructure.Collaborate with vendors and technology personnel.Diagnose and resolve technical issues, maintain industry knowledge.Operate a personal computer using various software.Respond to tickets, demonstrate proficiency in core competencies.Communicate effectively and document technical information.Cross-train for additional server and database functions.Undertake after-hours work as needed.Perform related tasks as required.Requirements of the Senior DBA SQL Server Administrator:

　　Eight years of combined education and/or experience in information technology, including a minimum of four years of professional experience in MS SQL Server Administration and proficiency with Windows Server 2008 through 2022 operating systems.Proven expertise in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Report Services (SSRS) within MS SQL Server Tools.Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.Preferably holds a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.Willingness to work periodically during evening/weekend hours for support and project implementation.If you are interested in the opportunity, then please email your resume to Jon Meredithat [email protected] or call 954-715-4793.
