　　The Team:

　　We are a group of Data Scientists, Statisticians, and GIS (Geographic Information System) experts responsible for providing quality analytics for Location based products and solve the Fundamental business question - “How does HERE know it has the best quality map in millions of locations globally?”. You’ll have the opportunity to use Data Science methods to build innovative solutions to measure Map Quality. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with several cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Development, Data engineering, and operations. 　　The Role:

　　As a Senior Data Scientist, you are passionate about machine learning models (including predictive analytics) and statistical concepts, and about applying them to real-world problems. You are responsible for developing map test designs, sampling designs, building Machine learning models, data and computing tools, and other analytics centered on Map and Location quality requirements.

　　Interpret project objectives and requirements and create appropriate data science solutions and outcomes.Build innovative solutions to measure Map Quality using Machine Learning (including Predictive analytics) and Statistical methods.Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on statistical and experimental design methods for Map and Location quality testing processes.Develop sampling plans to perform map quality evaluation, and to create training data for building ML models.Define & implement statistical quality metricsDesign and develop data and computing tools to enable processing of data and results.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

　　Who are you?

　　Master’s Degree or PhD in Statistics / Data Science / Mathematics / Computer Science. Candidates with a master’s degree in quality management systems with an Undergraduate degree in Data Science and Statistics will also be considered.5+ years of related work experienceProficiency in Machine Learning concepts and techniques (including Predictive Analytics)Proficiency and understanding of sampling methods and experimental design.Proficiency with analysis and programming in Python and/or R, SAS etc.Proficiency in SQLStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesExperience with understanding, specifying, and explaining measurement and analytic systems to other teams of data scientists, engineers, and non-technical colleagues.

　　Knowledge and experience with using GIS (Geographic Information System) tools for spatial data analysis is a plus.Knowledge and experience in Quality management, End-to-End quality test strategy and Six Sigma will be a plusWhat we offer?
