　　Job Duties and Responsibilities

　　DISH Wireless is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to engineer and operate effective and scalable network systems that ultimately contribute to the success of our 5G network. The successful candidate will participate in advanced technical leadership for complex data center project work, including functional subsystem upgrades for mission-critical network devices and services and strategic upgrades to the network.

　　In this role, you will:

　　Review architectural requirements and provide analysis for network and services specifications, network design, network partitioning, and network architecture definitionEngineer, plan, and implement complex network configurations for regional and national data centers supporting a service provider networkEffectively communicate engineering solutions through detailed high- and low-level diagrams and Engineering Design PackagesProvide advanced expertise in the development of network test, validation, and integration plans on projects and assurance of network integrityWork independently with vendors to understand, test, and drive new innovative featuresSkills, Experience and Requirements

　　Ideal Senior Network Engineer candidates have:

　　Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer Engineering preferred5 or more years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier space3 or more years of experience with data center networkingProfessional networking certifications a plus - CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalentPublic cloud certifications a plus - advanced networking, cloud network engineer, or equivalentSuccessful Senior Network Engineer candidates have extensive knowledge in:

　　Data center networkingBGP, IS-IS, VRFs and QoSMPLS and/or segment routing (SR-MPLS, SRv6)Connectivity to high-speed public Internet facilitiesHighly available network architectures, failover, and redundant configurations Software-defined networking (design and traffic engineering)Network configuration automation (scripting with Perl, Python, Bash)Salary Range
