Description

　　Amazon is seeking a senior data analyst with experience in tax and technology.

　　In this job you will be working very closely with our indirect tax compliance customers and technology partners. You will be supporting complex data solutions that underpin the reporting for Amazon indirect tax.

　　As a senior data analyst, you will be expected to have data management experience, strong skills data querying skills and understanding of tax and accounting knowledge to support indirect tax compliance teams across the globe.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　Support indirect tax colleagues with data requests, data questions and/or extracting data on their behalf, where standard reports do not meet the requirements.

　　• Improve existing processes by automating and reducing manual work.

　　• Collaborate with our technology partners to innovate and maintain complex business and data solutions.

　　• Hands-on detailed data research and analysis of a large financial data sets; investigate, troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.

　　• Implement projects to optimize data operations.

　　• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

　　• Work with our key technology providers to support technology upgrades, migrations, etc.

　　• Create and maintain dashboards used by tax compliance.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field

　　Experience in writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI

　　Bachelor's degree

　　Experience with Excel

　　Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

　　5+ years experience in data management or business analytics work

　　3+ years experience in SQL and/or Python scripting languages

　　3+ years experience in tax, finance or accounting domains

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　MBA

　　Experience with Spain SII (Immediate Supply of Information) electronic reporting
