  The Role:

  The Senior Cybersecurity Biometrics Engineer (Level 3) is a senior level position that will be responsible for performing Level 3 operations work in the Authentication Services space on the enterprise platform, which is supported by 24x7 * 365 days across the globe.

  This role will require development knowledge to work most effectively with application developers in troubleshooting issues related to application code, but there will not be direct coding to be done. Regardless, the ideal candidate will have to work with developers to solve coding related issues in integrating with authentication services technologies. The job is heavy on client interaction and requires excellent communication and documentation skills.

  The candidate must be willing to work in an operational support environment with various shifts as required on a monthly basis at minimum. There is NO night shift.

  For example, shift timing can be:

  Tue - Sat (9:00am-6:00pm EST OR 12:00pm-9:00pm EST)

  Sun - Thurs (9:00am-6:00pm EST OR 12:00pm-9:00pm EST)

  Mon - Fri (9:00am-6:00pm EST OR 12:00pm-9:00pm EST)

  *This can be clarified further upon request if needed.

  Responsibilities:

  Support business by working with developers and analysts with troubleshooting issues related to application coding and Biometrics

  Support our customers to successfully deploy and utilize our Biometrics products

  Develop user journeys and orchestration connectors according to customer use cases and technical requirements

  Perform change management and incident management utilizing documented procedures through Service Now (SNow) tool

  Work with vendor support and architects on a regular basis to be able to track the issue to closure as Level 3 SME

  Responsible for managing and providing the SME level support for IAM Services and infrastructure

  Provide the Level 3 support, while understanding the Technical solutions to support the client integrations and rolling out to higher environments

  Identify opportunities to automate and standardize information security controls and for the supported groups

  Reduce risk by analyzing the root cause of issues, their impact, and required corrective actions

  Qualifications:

  6-10 years' experience as it relates to the technology and tools below

  Experience supporting one-time password technology using SMS, Face ID, and other Biometrics MFA

  Hands-on experience working on RedHat Linux Operating System hosted In-house & Cloud Infrastructure

  Prior experience on any of the DevOps Tools for automating and monitoring (Ansible, Splunk, AppDynamics, Sensu, JIRA, RLM, IBM Tivoli)

  Knowledge on the Mobile, Web and Server API Interfaces

  Strong understanding of Web and Application middleware components (IBM HTTP Webserver, WebSphere, Apache, Tomcat)

  Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like Java and Python

  Experience supporting REST and SOAP API web services calls

  Strong understanding of best practices and security applied to mobile application development

  Strong understanding of encryption procedures and standards, federation, authentication and authorization concepts

  Strong proficiency with all aspects of transport as applied to mobile applications (mobile and cross-channel authenticators, connection handling, push notifications, client-side certificates/SSL, PKI on mobile)

  Expertise with Unix and native mobile operating systems

  Firm understanding of Web applications, Web APIs (REST/JSON), web protocols, (i.e. https, JavaScript, SSL, DNS, proxies/caches, firewalls, etc.)

  Database experience will be helpful (Oracle, LDAP, MongoDB)

  Experience working with any ticketing tools (i.e. ServiceNow)

  Webservices experience SOAP, REST and testing tools Postman and Soap UI

  Strong relevant knowledge on Mobile Platforms (iOS, Android)

  Any experience in Biometrics (Voice/Face/Fingerprinting, etc.) and Dyadic Authentication products with MongoDB is big plus

  Exemplary oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills.

  Communicate effectively with both internal staff and external clients

  Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  Excellent problem solving, time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills, and an ability to manage concurrent tasks

  Proven influencing and relationship management skills

  Team player should be able to do multitasking and has the ability to work under pressure

  Should have the desire to learn and adopt new technologies

  Education:

  Bachelor’s degree/University degree or a minim of 5 years' equivalent experience

  Master’s degree preferred

  ITIL, CISSP or other relevant certifications a big plus
