　　Cherry Bekaert's Finance & Accounting department would like to add a Senior Corporate GL Accountant to our growing team. Reporting to the Controller, this individual will assist with general accounting responsibilities. 　　What your day looks like:

　　Carry out month-end close duties, such as analyzing financial transactions in general ledgers, submitting manual journal entries and preparing account reconciliations

　　Assist with special projects and other duties as needed, such as data collection, compilation, reporting and process automation and presentation, etc.

　　Become a subject matter expert within the firm accounting team

　　Some supervision of others on projects or day-to-day activities as needed

　　What you need for this role:

　　3+ years of experience in a corporate or professional services accounting department

　　Demonstrated proficiency working with journal entries, balance sheet recons, cash account recons, and account research

　　Previous experience with Sales and Use Tax Reporting and Business License Reporting preferred

　　Exposure to intermediate level accounting software, such as Sage 500, Renovo, and/or Premier Depreciation

　　Strong Excel and Adobe Acrobat skills. Smartsheets skills a plus

　　Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

　　CPA certification a plus

　　Availability to work extended hours during month-end and year-end (4/30) closings

The salary range for this position is $54,200 to $125,120.
