About Role
As a Senior Continuous Improvement Project Manager in our new APAC Global Business Services Centre (GBS) , you will have the opportunity to play a role in defining and supporting our future as well as being part of a new and exciting team. Business Project Management requires general business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Organizing project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements
Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing
Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g. International Standards Organization)
Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget
May include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects)
On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables
Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include:
Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision
Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals
Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex
In this role you will be collaborating with various stakeholders across the business including our other GBS teams in Lisbon and Bogota, CoE’s as well as our Corporate, Commercial and Market teams.
Our APAC GBS supports a hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.
You will be joining a newly formed Global Business Services team, with opportunities to grow, within Project Management or the wider Process Automation functions.
About You
To be successful you will have:
A minimum 5+ years’ experience in finance project transformation and transition; at least 2 years of project leading experience
Competency in SAP
An aptitude for systems with an appetite for automation and continuous improvement
Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix environment and manage multiple priorities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
A customer-first mindset to fit with our “forever caring” brand
Language:
Good written and spoken English is essential
A proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean and/or Thai as well as other Asian languages will be an advantage
Qualification/Education
