　　Initially anticipated to be a one-year assignment with the potential for extension. The hourly rate range for this position is $34-$74 per hour (plus full benefits) with overtime paid at time and ½ for hours worked over 40 in one week.

　　DESCRIPTION OF WORK -- SPECIFIC

　　This position is for a Civil Engineer who will prepare designs for earthwork, underground commodities, roads, foundations, profiles associated with DOD and USAF projects.  The successful candidate must have strong organizational and teamwork skills, proven problem-solving abilities, can-do attitude, and the desire to innovate designs. This role will specifically support the USAF Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase.

　　Support design development civil engineering designs for the GBSD program project by preparing studies, drawings, calculations, specifications, data sheets, and evaluations, in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements.Work with other civil engineers and technical disciplines in a team environment.Solid experience in executing design development and producing design documents for government customers in accordance with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide, including drawings, UFGS specifications, and calculations.Development of grading and backfill design and drawings.Road design and design documents.Foundation design and drawings.Assist with boring oversight, site inspection and review of existing facilities.Perform formal calculations and drawings.Review vendor information from subcontractors and integrate it into the design solution.Execute to schedule requirement while maintaining a high degree of quality in work product.Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team.

　　BS degree in Engineering (Civil or related), from an accredited university, with at least 9 years of relevant experience.Registered Professional Engineer in USA (Civil or Structural Engineering).US citizenship is required per contract requirement.Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.* *

　　MS degree in Civil or related Engineering, from an accredited university.

　　Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ISO-9000.

　　Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense.

　　Intermediate knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or SpecsIntact.
