　　Job Summary：

　　Trane Technologies is hiring a Senior Category Manager- Wire Harneses in Davidson, NC! This is a critical role on our Procurement team, with a large, complex scope of responsibilities within the assigned category. We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to own the space, strategy, supply base, and performance of our Wire Harness Category, and stay current on market trends and conditions in this category. This role will include engagement with Senior Leadership and cross-functional teams such as Operations, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and Sustainability.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Collaboration: Identify, engage and align with internal stakeholders to capture category requirements and ensure supplier qualification and quality;

　　Partner with business unit Procurement teams to efficiently transition suppliers as needed; Support region/sector New Product Development (NPD) Procurement teams through preferred supplier programs.

　　Role does include direct-reports and is responsible for leading, supporting, coaching, and assisting in the development of Category Managers on the Team.

　　Strategy: Responsible for developing and executing detailed category strategy aligned with each SBU, incorporating Total Value Ownership models, Global Sourcing strategy to navigate trade compliance and opportunities, executing a Sustainability strategy to achieve 2030 Commitments, coordinating Resin Buy Program managing multiple tiers of supply chain, expanding the Preferred Supplier Program and segmentation based on the business needs and effective procurement principles.

　　Negotiations: Manage contract lifecycle and compliance, ensure supply continuity, and deliver best total value through RFx activities in order to execute supplier selection and negotiation.

　　Risk Management: Actively monitor and mitigate supplier risk including financial, capacity, quality and compliance. This includes management of multiple tiers of supply chain in the Category.

　　Cost Management: Responsible for delivering category productivity through price, value analysis (VA) or continuous improvement projects. Beyond price negotiations, VAVE and re-sourcing project management, this may include evaluations of global markets for import opportunities and evaluating and identifying optimal manufacturing processes.

　　Supplier Management: Oversee Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and regular supplier reviews for all strategic suppliers within category to meet program Quality/Cost/Delivery targets.

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s Degree required.

　　7+ years of procurement / sourcing experience with large-scale, complex, and/or regional/global categories of spend.

　　Demonstrated success in assessing, negotiating and managing vendors.

　　Collaborative, facilitation, consultation and conflict resolution skills; you will be a trusted business partner and engage both internal and external stakeholders/customers, and we are seeking the ability to collaborate and influence within a highly matrixed environment.

　　Professional communication; both verbal and written are required. Demonstrated ability to lead executive presentations for Senior Leadership required.

　　Demonstrated ability to manage and communicate moderately complicated concepts in Finance and Accounting as this role will collaborate with Corporate Finance and Accounting on Inflation/Deflation guidance, Resin Buy Program financial execution.

　　Ability to comprehend, analyze, and communicate economic trends and market conditions that directly and indirectly impact the procurement and cost of Category cost drivers.
