We are in search of adrafter/designer to joinour Water Resourcespractice.Thisposition wouldprovidesupportforlarge and small projects related tostormwater management,stream restoration and fish habitat, green stormwater infrastructure/low impactdevelopment, site civil design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and water and sewer utilities.AboutYouThis position willwork on multiple projectsreporting directly to theprojectmanagers,as well as civil engineers andothertechnicians.We'relooking for someone with:10+ years drafting/design experience in civil engineering field (additional coursework or college degree may reduce experience required).Strong knowledge of industry standards and practices in the areas of CADD and ProjectWise.Excellent client service skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.Experience working on large PS&E projects.Ability to thrive and make an impact in a fast-paced office environment: assertive, resourceful and a problem solver.To thrive in this position, youmayalsohave thesequalifications:Knowledge of GIS terminology and importing GIS and LIDAR dataExperience using Bentley applications including MicroStation, and InroadsAboutthe PositionIn this role,you'llwork with a highly collaborative team of engineers and civil technicians to:Set up project CADD files,produceproject drawings, and electronically deliverthemto the clientPrepareandparticipatein the development ofcivilengineeringdrawings during planning, permitting, design, and construction phasesWork closely with Project Managers, and engineers obtaining project information to ensure drawings are accurate and completed on time and within allocated budgets.Coordinate with the Osborn Consulting Design Technology Manager to implement project CAD standards, setup, and execution.Manage preparation of Civil Engineering drawings during the planning, permitting, design, and construction phases.Mentor project staff with less experience as needed.QA/QC of CADD drawings and design files as required.LocationThis positioncan be based in either our Bellevue or Seattle offices.AboutOsbornOsborn Consulting is an employee-owned consulting firmprovidingcivil engineering, landscape architecture, and urban designonpublic projects across Washington state.
