　　Job Summary

　　The Senior Business Planning Analyst will focus on high impact projects and initiatives within the Planning & Control function - including the preparation and development of operating and capital budgets, forecasts, short and long-term business plans, variance and trend analysis. This role is also responsible for overseeing and coordinating the consolidations and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly statistical and financial reports and analysis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with the preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts, as well as aspirations to further develop a career in Finance.

　　Responsibilities

　　Direct responsibility for preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for assigned business areasWork closely with business leaders to develop budget/forecast that reflects operational and financial goals of the company and act as a resource to help achieve these goalsAssist in the consolidation and reporting of the budgets and forecasts for the departmentConsolidation and reporting for all operating and capital expendituresAssist in the monthly review and analysis of operating and capital expendituresAssist in the preparation and consolidation of variance analysisConduct financial and statistical analysis, reporting and tracking for all assigned business areas, supported by commentary and analysisDevelop, report, and maintain routine and ad-hoc financial analysis

　　Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldAbility to analyze large amounts of data and develop models for ad-hoc analysis4+ years' experience in Accounting or Finance, including previous experience in preparation and analysis of budgets and forecastsExcellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to interact with employees and leaders at all levelsDetail oriented with the ability to analyze problems, probe facts and question assumptionsStrong Excel skills including advanced formulas, pivot tables, graphs and chartsHigh degree of integrityAbility to analyze and solve problems using fact-based decision-making
