As we continue to expand our client base, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) with a proven track record in nurturing and selling in a B2B environment. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth. You will bring in Directors to help close new accounts and support project teams with expanding business on current accounts.
The Senior BDR reports to the Director, Marketing.
This is a full-time, non-remote position based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
· Maintain a targeted prospect list and create outreach strategies to engage potential clients.
· Proactively reach out to decision-makers within target companies through various channels (email, phone calls, social media).
· Qualify leads to ensure alignment with our consulting services and identify key pain points and needs.
· Engage in consultative discussions with potential clients to understand their challenges and business goals as it relates to capital projects.
· Position our consulting services as solutions to address client needs and provide value.
· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in capital projects, risk, and project management.
· Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling SOWs that showcase our expertise and address client requirements.
· Achieve and exceed sales targets by closing new business opportunities.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the HubSpot.
· Provide regular updates on the status of deals and contribute to sales forecasting.
· Ability to commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required); this is a full-time position based in downtown Toronto, Ontario (not remote).
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a BDR or in a similar sales role within the consulting or enterprise software industry.
· Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
· Strong understanding of enterprise technologies and industry trends.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
· Proficient in using HubSpot software and other sales tools.
