　　Position: Sr. BI Data Architect

　　Skills : Data Modelling, Azure Synapse & ADF pipeline expertise, Power BI Data Sets, Power BI reporting & configurations.

　　General Summary:

　　Defines the end use of the database, and then creates a blueprint for developing, testing, and maintaining the database. Designs, builds and oversees the deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions and software to capture, manage, store and utilize structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources.

　　Establishes and builds processes and structures based on business and technical requirements to channel data from multiple inputs, route appropriately and store using any combination of distributed (cloud) structures, local databases, and other applicable storage forms as required. Creates and establishes design standards and assurance processes for to ensure compatibility and operability of data connections, flows and storage requirements. Reviews internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity and suggests changes and upgrades to systems and storage to accommodate ongoing needs.

　　Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

　　12+ years of experience in building relational Dimensional Data models using the Kimball methodology. Experience in building heirarchys.

　　Knowledge of the Azure development platform. 5+ years of experience in Power BI reporting

　　6+ Experience with developing data pipelines in Azure that move data from a Data Lake architecture to Azure Synapse.

　　5+ years of configuring dedicated pools and

　　5 Years of experience with Power BI Datasets \ SSAS.

　　Excellent ability to write Microsoft Sql Server T-SQL.

　　Ability to design and implement Tabular models within Power BI Premium Data Sets.

　　Ability to use SSIS for data extractions.

　　Ability to implement DAX coding language into Power BI and Tabular models

　　5 years of working with an Enterprise Data Warehouse and writing ETL.

　　Knowledge of Data Bricks is a plus.

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another related field

　　Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to create meaningful documentation.

　　Must be able to multi-task and handle multiple requests from multiple users.

　　Ability to gather requirements and formulate an estimate for work.
