Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Senior Azure Cloud Administrator/Engineer in Grinnell, Iowa. This position plays a crucial role in our team, focusing on server administration, Azure administration, deployment and scripting, and cloud engineering. The ideal candidate will be tasked with maintaining and improving our current systems while also striving to innovate and integrate new technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage VMware server administration, ensuring optimal functionality and addressing any issues as they arise

• Oversee Azure Administration, focusing on subscription and resource management

• Utilize scripting experience to enhance system automation and efficiency

• Administer Microsoft 365 Intune and Autopilot for desktop deployment

• Handle both desktop and server-related tasks and troubleshooting

• Conduct cloud engineering tasks, including the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based systems

• Carry out automation tasks using Terraform or similar provisioning tools like Jenkins

• Participate in project work, including the replacement and management of networking equipment such as switches and firewalls

• Collaborate with vendors on projects such as Cisco Meraki and Cisco Edge

• Work on network and server break fixes, ensuring system stability and performance

• Handle administration tasks related to Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Connect

• Manage SQL Server and SQL Server Clustering operations

• Apply skills in Cloud administration, Intune, Windows Intune, Scripting, and Terraform. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proven professional experience with Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Connect.

• Strong knowledge and experience in cloud administration.

• Experience with Intune and Windows Intune is required.

• Must possess scripting skills and have a solid scripting experience.

• Proficient in SQL Server and SQL Server Clustering.

• Experience with Terraform is mandatory.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must have an understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
