CLA is currently seeking an Audit Senior to join our growing Colorado team ineither Greenwood Village, Broomfield or Colorado Springs offices.
How you'll create opportunities in this Audit Senior role:Performs the detail work of audits, review, some compilations, and otherassurance services for clients.Collects and analyzes data to detect deficient controls, duplicatedeffort, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, andmanagement policies.Helps build detailed reports on audit findings.Supports multiple client engagements of varying size and complexity, on timeand within budget, and communications progress and audit results tosupervisorsKeep manager/principal aware of engagement status and problem areas.Completes assigned portions of engagements with consistency and accuracy andwithin tight time frames.Proactively interact and communicate with clients to gather information toensure timely engagement wrap-up.Audit complex areas/transactions as well as prepare financial statements andrelated reports.May begin to direct small audits at the two-year level.
What you will need:You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.You have or are eligible to sit for the CPA license.You haveat least 2 years' experienceas an associate with an emphasis infinancial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations.You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.You are looking for a firm that will support and foster your aspiring careergoals.You jump at the chance to help others and you're ready to join a team ofhigh-performing people.
Compensation Strategy: Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaborationand career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as aninvestment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience,education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within therange. These same factors may cause starting pay to be below or above theposted range. For Colorado, the posted range for this role is$75,000-$107,000.
