Senior Associate, Social Media Manager
Are you passionate about social media engagement and real-time marketing? Are you a strategic thought leader with big-brand experience who can work in a fast-paced, always-on environment?
In this role, you will manage and interact with Capital One's social media communities. Excellent writing and copywriting experience is a must.
Responsibilities:
Establish Capital One Auto Navigator as a go-to source that everyone from enthusiasts to in-market consumers needs to see in their feeds.Grow followings from scratch; define Capital One Auto Navigator's social presence.Observe, surface and make recommendations regarding conversations, other social communities, trends and technologies in the marketplace that are relevant to Capital One's social presence .Manage and execute changes to the publishing calendar across channels.Contribute to a positive team environment.Define and track relevant KPIs.Create engaging posts based on established content.Develop SEO-optimized video descriptions in cooperation with the Video Content Manager.Be a community manager on a team leading and managing the conversation on Capital One Auto Finance social channels including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, plus other potential channels.Enforce Capital One social media guidelines to create a positive, and welcoming online community for customers across owned social channels.Execute real-time brand social communications with customers, fans, followers and advocates and provide tactical support for campaigns or activations.Identify and communicate social escalations to key stakeholders and leadership.Contribute to documentation of best practices and guidelines for Capital One's social presences.Help develop a robust social calendar and drive relevant content ideas.Contribute to team content brainstorms with social media impact in mind.Coordinate distribution campaign requirements.Obtain legal and accountable executive approval for all posts.

Basic Qualifications:.
Bachelor's Degree or Military ExperienceAt least 2 years experience with digital communications or social media planningAt least 2 years experience in content creation or social media copywriting
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Public Relations3+ years experience in community management, digital communications or social media marketing3+ years experience in public relations, marketing communications and crisis management experience3+ years of experience with social community platforms (some examples include: Sprinklr, Hootsuite, SproutSocial)
