What you will do
In this vital role you will assist with processes and activities to ensure Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliance with the UK/Ireland Wholesale Distribution Authorisations (WDAs) and Amgen Quality Management System (QMS). Under the leadership of the Senior Manager Quality Assurance and Responsible Person (RP), you will:
Carry out intake of Product Complaints into the Amgen database and perform follow-up tasks as necessary
Produce metrics for Product Complaints, Distribution Complaints and Deviations/Corrective Actions
Enter deviations and corrective action records into the Amgen database
Support the distribution processes for all Amgen products under the guidance of the RP
Liaise with third parties providing sub-contracted services to Amgen, e.g. Logistics Service Providers, Wholesalers, Product Complaint Intake Contact Centre
Support the RP in ensuring compliance with the Amgen QMS, including relevant documentation
Participate in audits and regulatory Inspections, where applicable
Support the RP with GDP and Amgen QMS self-assessments and risk assessments
Assist with assignment of GDP training to staff, including activities in support of the annual training reviews and maintaining training matrices
Support the RP in releasing product to market when required
Support assessment of temperature excursions

Degree educated
Proven professional experience within Quality Assurance
Sound knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and GDP
Strong word processing, database and spreadsheet application skills
