This Sr Security Architecture position will support cybersecurity risk management by designing, developing or recommending secure solutions, including policy, standards, processes, applications, systems, architectures, and infrastructure that are operationally viable and efficient. Ensure appropriate application of security products and technologies to protect Edwards’ systems and information and enable achievement of Edwards’ business objectives. Perform analysis of emerging cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, architectures and solutions to enforce secure policy/standards conformance.

Position Accountability / Scope - Reports to Sr. Manager of Governance, Risk Compliance. The scope of this position is Edwards wide and considers the information security implications unique to all Edwards divisions when developing governance and risk management strategies.

You will make an impact by:

• Provide design and architecture guidance on various projects

• Serve as technical lead in design and build of multiple cyber security controls or solutions, processes and functions

• Design, document or improve key processes for the service function

• Develop methodology and framework for the cyber security service or processes, to make the outcomes repeatable, consistent and standard

• Serve as a business liaison and advisor for one or more business units

• Other incidental duties

What you'll need (Required):

•Bachelor's Degree in related field,

•Previous related experience Required

What else we look for (Preferred):

• Experience implementing requirements from NIST 800-53 required

• Experience in IEC-80001-2-2 preferred

• Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio software development using C# under .Net required

• Experience with Software integration and debugging preferred

• Experience drafting technical documentation

• Experience with Windows Embedded OS and its cybersecurity toolkit

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer focused skills

• Experience drafting technical documentation

• Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization while applying broad-based technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines

• Expert knowledge and understanding of OOD (Object-Oriented Design) and OO (Object Oriented) methodology and software unit testing

• Extensive understanding of troubleshooting techniques with the ability to adapt and learn new technologies

• Ability to transform technical solutions into well documented build guides

• Ability to mentor colleagues and provide appropriate guidance for their success

• Strict attention to detail

• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
