This is an exceptional chance for you to have a direct and daily impact on the success of a high-profile, rapid acquisition supporting Special Operations Command. In this role, you will conduct financial analysis on a new aircraft supporting special operations personnel. Take the next step in your career and grow your toolkit by joining a highly skilled and fast-moving team of acquisitions professionals.ResponsibilitiesUtilize Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), financial management databases, and repositories to manage spend plans, funds execution, commitments, obligations, and expenditures.Generate comprehensive detailed reports to maintain oversight of program and budget execution data including creation and management of annual spend plan.Assist the Funds Manager in creating and presenting briefings and reports on funds status to the Product Support Manager and other DoD officials as required.Provide inputs for development of formal contract documentation to include Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, Government Cost Estimates, and Funding Document Requests.Interface with Contracting Office Project Managers, Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer Representatives.Provide Financial/Cost analysis support to Light Attack Aircraft Program Management Office.Education/QualificationsRequired:Must have active U.S. Dept. of Defense Secret Level Clearance or above with the ability to maintain.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study preferred (mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics).Experience with risk concept applications.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with other MS Office applications.Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS).Knowledge of DOD Financial Management Regulation (DOD FMR).Knowledge of market research, cost and price analysis, acquisition planning, source selection procedures, business clearances, pre-award surveys, financial audits, technical reports, award fee plans, responsibility determinations.Ability to interpret a significant amount of data and consolidate to executive reporting.Preferred:Master's degree in a relevant field of study preferred (mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics).Aerospace cost estimating experience.Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) certification.#LI-KC1#LI-Onsite#LI-HybridFTI is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
