　　The Information Protection and Cloud Security team at Proofpoint is part of the Advanced Technology portfolio of products that specializes in keeping our customers safe and protected, branded as Sigma. This team is built up of motivated and talented individuals who are passionate about the security space and want to continue to make an impact in the world and on our outstanding customer base. Currently, a major growth engine for the company, this group sells a platform comprised of 6 products that continue to grow in market adoption, with our DLP solution sitting at #2 in market share.

　　Role Overview

　　Proofpoint is looking for an experienced Sales Specialist to align with our Field Sales teams in the TOLA and Latin America regions. This person will be reporting to the Sales Director for the Information Protection and Cloud Security team. You will work closely with Proofpoint core sales reps as a specialist and partner to help drive growth in the region and be the expert for this team in the Sigma platform.

　　Your day to day:

　　The ability to establish strong relationships at all levels to get things done and close deals.

　　The hunger and drive to penetrate net new accounts as well as expand our presence with already existing customers – a hunter mentality.

　　Partner with the channel organization to secure a new share of the security market.

　　Work closely with the core team to expand its footprint in the existing customer base and leverage strong relationships.

　　Continued enablement on our product portfolio to have more meaningful customer conversations and enable our core team as well.

　　Team up with our extraordinary Sales Engineers team to prepare account strategies and deliver outstanding product demos and proof of concept programs to prospects and customers.

　　What you bring to the team

　　Experience and knowledge selling into the enterprise space.

　　Enterprise software sales and cybersecurity experience. Required experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Insider Threat Management (ITM), and/or Secure Web Gate (SWG).

　　A desire to have a deep understanding and be technically proficient in our products.

　　Strong account planning and forecasting skills.

　　A proven track record exceeding sales goals and the desire to win.

　　Passion for partnering and working with people across all functions of the business to complete tasks, meet deadlines, and understand the overlay structure.

　　Understanding and proficiency with Salesforce.

　　Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
