Key Responsibilities:
Imagine, design and develop products and systems as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team.
You will collaborate across Honeywell Aerospace engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
You will participate in all phases of product development and will be a coach and mentor to less experienced engineers.

Engineering analysis and weight optimization

YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace or mechatronics engineering.
7+ years of experience in mechanical design with NX or CAD design tool including modeling and drafting.
2+ years of experience in gas turbine engines design.
WE VALUE:
Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
Experience in engine internals design, including mechanical systems, compressor, fan, combustor, turbine blades, gear trains.
Proven application of ASME drawing standards including ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience in Conceptual Design, Preliminary Design and Detailed Design phases.
Experience with rig testing design and development.
Understanding of technology readiness levels (TRL).
Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating and overseeing successful projects with experience leading small teams.
