　　Robert Half is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager with 12+ years of experience. Ideally in the Education sector. This job will eventually be in a hybrid setting in Newark. Strong compensation and benefits. Ability for growth is possible in this role.

　　Experience: 12+ years

　　Responsibilities:

　　As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial aspects with a focus on the education industry. Your key responsibilities include:

　　Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements.

　　Collaborate with all subsidiaries for comprehensive account analysis.

　　Lead the preparation of annual consolidated financial statements.

　　Supervise, train, and mentor the staff of the General Accounting Department.

　　Manage and oversee external reporting requirements.

　　Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

　　Undertake special projects related to financial analysis and reporting.

　　Provide financial services to affiliates and agency companies.

　　Additional Responsibilities:

　　Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

　　Actively participate in strategic financial planning and decision-making processes.

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various financial initiatives.

　　Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.

　　Qualities and Skills:

　　Strong leadership and team management skills.

　　Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

　　Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

　　Proven experience in managing external relationships.

　　Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

　　Requirements

　　Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

　　CPA or MBA preferred

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

　　Strong ERP skills

　　Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

　　Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation

　　Recent relevant financial experience

　　Microsoft Excel experience
