Accounting Manager candidates will be interested in this position, if they have a knack for establishing and regulating an organization's accounting and finance procedures. The ideal candidate for this Accounting Manager position with a burgeoning, innovative company can take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties.
Your responsibilities
Team up with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Command sufficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses
Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines
Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Command of Fixed Asset Accounting
General ledger experience desired
Strong familiarity with month end closings
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
Proven technical skills
Recent relevant financial experience
