This role is for a project manager specializing in software development projects. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about the software that we make. Key Qualifications
3 to 12 years experience as a Technical or Engineering Project Manager
Experience in Software Development processes
Ability to understand developers on a technical level
Strong experience with Agile and Scrum development
Highly organized with a strong ability to supervise and follow up on details with technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at the same time
Ability to help maintain high velocity for the development team
Experience managing software projects based on a variety of technologies
Experience with project management tools such as Wrike, Jira and Omniplan
Strong report creation skills
Strong writing, speaking, and presentation skills
Exceptional patience, persistence, and flexibility
Able to find a way to get things done under constraints
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is curious about new technologies
A passion for delivering top quality code at high velocity
Description
Your responsibilities will include all aspects of engineering l project management, from initial requirements gathering, planning, and estimation, to sprint loading, tracking and moving tickets along each step, including QA and UAT, making sure nothing falls through the cracks, getting sign-off, and shepherding releases to production. You must be a proactive and hardworking individual. As a Senior Engineering Project Manager, you will be coordinating the development of new applications, new product features, and bug fixes. You will work closely with business partners, other engineering teams, quality assurance, management, among others. YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: Working with business partners to gather requirements Liaising with vendors to integrate into the Apple ecosystem Turning requirements into user stories and tickets using an Agile tracking tool Working with business partners to keep backlogs groomed Scheduling sprints and sprint related activities Directing the sprint loading process Tracking and shepherding issues toward completion Making sure the sprint board always accurately reflects status Working to resolve blockers in a sprint Setting up meetings with business partners and cross-functional groups to communicate status and resolve issues Creating reports for status and other project information Communicating with partners at all levels, including executives Raising any issues that might endanger a release to production Seeking and obtaining any and all necessary approvals for a release to production
Education & Experience
Major in computer science, engineering, or equivalent field or 3 to 12 years experience in Project Management/ Project Coordination.
