　　About the Role

　　We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Senior Accountant. This role will be responsible for assisting the accounting team with the monthly close process and ensuring our books are closed timely and accurately.

　　This role will report to: Vice President, Corporate Controller

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities

　　Prepare monthly journal entries related to Cost of Goods Sold and other G&A expenses, prepaid expenses and amortization,

　　Perform operating leases entries compliant with ASC 842 lease accounting guidelines.

　　Prepare journal entries to record bank transactions and foreign exchange gain/loss as needed

　　Prepare other monthly GL entries required to record the activities of the assigned accounts being monitored.

　　Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts. 

　　Prepare monthly P&L analysis and provide explanations for variances.

　　Coordinate with local accounting teams, perform tie-out to foreign subsidiaries’ accounting records, identify, and resolve variances.

　　Provide support for the annual audits performed by independent auditors and additional projects as assigned.

　　Perform assigned month end close tasks.

　　Desired Skills and Experience

　　Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting required.

　　A minimum of 5 years of U.S. GAAP compliant general ledger experience is required.

　　Advanced Excel skills and analytical skills.

　　Ability to problem solve and investigate discrepancies.

　　Familiar with U.S. GAAP principles such as ASC842 Lease. accounting, ASC830 Foreign currency matters.

　　Strong organizational and time management skills.

　　Strong attention to detail.

　　Prior experience with international accounting is preferred.

　　Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
