　　We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist who can become an integral member of our accounting and finance team.

　　Description:

　　Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for a variety of high level accounting activities for the organization.

　　Responsibilities include:

　　Fixed Assets

　　Reconciles balance sheet accounts for properties/equipment, current liabilities, long-term liabilities, and other assets

　　Records costs of newly-acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible)

　　Tracks existing fixed assets, records any depreciation/amortization and accounts for the assets' disposition

　　Maintains equipment lease schedules and ensures lease payments are made promptly

　　Records equipment acquisitions

　　Maintains building lease and mortgage schedules and ensures rent payments take place

　　Records and manages vehicle acquisitions and subsequent payment schedules

　　Maintains and update liability schedules (short term and long term) related to fixed asset debt

　　Supports audit inquiries

　　Tax & Compliance

　　Collects all tax-related information and oversees reporting to taxation authorities at the federal, state, and local levels in a timely manner.

　　Serves as primary point of contact for any other government related finance inquiries.

　　Reconciles balance sheet accounts and oversees various tax filings including: deferred income, sales & use, building property, payroll, annual tax filings, etc.

　　Oversees registration & compliance in various jurisdictions

　　Responds to US Census Report requests

　　Responds and works with tax auditors

　　Treasury & Cash Management

　　Oversees corporate liquidity, investments, and risk management related to the company's financial activities.

　　Reviews, manages, and reconciles company bank and credit card accounts

　　Reconciles corporate balance sheet accounts including current assets, current liabilities, long term liabilities, and other assets

　　Monitors all check and ACH payments

　　Conducts daily cash flow analysis and reporting

　　Submits positive pay report to bank

　　Reviews and analyses monthly bank fees

　　Reviews daily cash application

　　Ensures proper payment of expense reports

　　General Accounting

　　Oversees general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions

　　Reconciles balance sheet accounts including current assets, liabilities, and equity

　　Reviews and posts general ledger entries, checks for accurate GL coding

　　Runs financial analysis and reporting, prepares balance sheets and income summaries accordingly

　　Supports audit inquiries

　　Manages/sets up locations in General Ledger

　　Creates borrowing base reports

　　Other duties as assigned

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, Master's preferred

　　At least 5 - 7 years direct experience

　　CPA preferred

　　Proficient knowledge (5+ years experience) of related Accounting software and general ledger entries

　　Stellar communication skills both verbally and in writing

　　Excellent mathematics skill
