Position Summary:This position is responsible for assisting with the general ledger of ISG NA facilities including journal entry activity, reconciliations, account analysis, resolving accounting issues and reporting to various level of management. A high level of integrity is required as all work must be performed in accordance with CSA policies and procedures.Primary Responsibilities:

　　Record journal entries and analyze activity for accounts including prepaid, intangibles, amortization, accruals, inter-companies and other liability accountsPrepare account reconciliation and detailed analysis to support key balance sheet accountsAssist in ensuring compliance with CSA policies and proceduresProvide supporting information/report to internal and external auditors as requestedWork with plants, divisional and corporate personnel to record and balance intercompany AR/APSupport manager and other members of department in special projectsEnsuring accuracy of documents and reportsMay, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this descriptionEducation and Qualifications:

　　Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance requiredThree plus years accounting experience requiredGood computer skills required, including proficiency in ExcelWorking knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Ability to work with all levels within an organizationGood analytical abilities; good verbal and written communication skillsSelf-starter and a results-oriented team player; possess an ownership sense of role/ responsibility; constant focus on improving the process and resultsWillingness and ability to travel, when necessaryCost accounting experience a plusAbility to take on higher-level responsibilitiesPromotable 2-3 grade levels to a plant controller positionWork Environment/Work Conditions:
