　　The Department of Public Safety has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Security Systems Technician at the UHealth Campus. The Security Systems Technician installs, maintains, services, troubleshoots, and repairs security systems, hardware, and peripherals to ensure that assigned premises are safe and secure at all times. Additionally, the Security Systems Technician evaluates present systems and recommends system expansion, modification, and replacement.

　　Reports to security systems supervisor.

　　Install, repair and maintain video cameras, monitors, access systems. Program ONITY lock access system and maintain.

　　Maintains and troubleshoots electronic security equipment, (i.e.; computers, video cameras, monitors, card access control panel, intrusion detention devices magnetic and strike locks, associated power supplies and other similar security equipment.

　　Installs new security equipment as needs and instructed by Supervisor.

　　Programs and maintains ONITY lock access system.

　　Helps with repairs on security system/access problems.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

　　Associate Degree in relevant field required

　　Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

　　Valid State of Florida driver’s license

　　Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.

　　Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.

　　Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.

　　Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.

　　Commitment to the University’s core values.

　　Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.

　　Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office).

　　Ability to operate a motor vehicle
