Overview

　　SECURITY SERVICE SPECIALIST (OSDJT):

　　Bowhead seeks a Security Services Specialist to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Test and Evaluation (JTE&E), Joint Program Office (JPO) supporting Joint/Joint Agency, Combatant Command, and Service joint tests and quick reaction tests.

　　Responsibilities

　　Provides for complete and timely action for all security violations/ incidents and resulting inquiries/ investigations. Oversees and tracks both the general security and network security education programs for all JPO- Suffolk/JTU-Suffolk personnel. Performs JPO-Suffolk/ JTU-Suffolk facility security alarm checks.

　　Coordinates with contractor Facility Security Officers (FSO) to ensure personnel collateral clearances are received for all contractor visit requests. Assists in processing visit requests for incoming personnel.

　　Maintains security records for all JT&E Program personnel.

　　Knowledge of DOD Manual 5200.01, DOD Information Security Program; DOD Manual 5105.21 Sensitive Compartmented Information Administrative Security Manual; and DOD 5220.22-M, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).

　　Serves as principal contract support to the JT&E Program Security Officer on security matters.

　　Ensures personnel are appropriately cleared for work position held, and that timely action is taken when adverse information is gathered.

　　Ensures procedures are implemented for proper safeguarding of classified material received by, stored within, and transmitted from the JPO-Suffolk/JTU-Suffolk facility.

　　Provides for complete and timely action for all security violations/ incidents and resulting inquiries/ investigations.

　　Qualifications

　　Ten (10+) years’ of experience required.

　　Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required

　　Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point.

　　Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.

　　Demonstrated strong attention to detail.

　　Demonstrated skills in prioritization and multi-tasking.

　　Physical Demands:

　　Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

　　Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

　　Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

　　SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
