Follows the strategic and operationaldirection of the Director and Vice President, Security. Ability to worka schedule that includes evenings, nights and weekend Patrol interiorand exterior areas of properties where assigned by vehicle and/or onfoot according to standard operating procedures and situational needs.Promptly respond to escalating behavioral and conflict events, assuringfor the care, welfare, safety, and security of all involved. Promptlycoordinate response to internal and external situations impacting lifesafety, facility infrastructure and business continuity; initiating andutilizing the Incident Command System (ICS) to ensure appropriateorganizational leaders are notified and assigned roles as thesesituations demand. Investigate crimes, traffic accidents, suspiciousincidents, and other calls for service, gathering evidence anddocumenting information, and assisting in follow-up investigations asassigned. Address and document unusual or unsafe conditions that maycreate security concerns or safety hazards, including stopping work toensure staff, patient, visitor, and contractor safety. Restrict accessto and identify persons with no business on property. Enforce parkingguidelines and direct traffic to assist motorists. Process lost andfound property, patient valuables, contraband, and weapons. Participatein daily shift briefings and department trainings.
