　　This position requires availability to work the afternoon shift 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. or Overnight shift 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.

　　Pay:

　　$23.72 - $26.56 - pay is commensurate with experience

　　Purpose of Position:

　　Provide support, and response for alarm events, access control, and communications with members, visitors, and vendors at ESL properties.

　　Principle Accountabilities:

　　Monitor and respond as defined in ESL security department procedures to all alarm events, including, intrusion, fire, environmental / building systems, and emergency phones. Monitor all secured areas of the ESL headquarters campus and locations. When assigned to main lobby, Monitor activity, and maintain security control of the front desk main reception area. Interact with members, employees, visitor, and all others in the lobby area of ESL company headquarters. Provide direction, and assistance. Assist with parking validation and questions, provide support or relief for receptionist if needed including answering or transferring calls as needed. Represent Physical Security in a professional, friendly, and member focused manner. Enter banking office from time to time as routine patrol. Be alert for safety hazards, including wet floors, obstructions, or any issue that could be a safety or security hazard and report accordingly. Maintain radio contract with Security Communication center (SCC) and respond if needed to emergency situations. Work at various ESL locations as need or assigned.

　　Perform video checks and report maintenance issues. Monitor and respond as defined in ESL security department procedures to all alarm events, including, intrusion, fire, environmental / building systems, and emergency phones. Monitor all secured areas of the ESL headquarters campus and locations. Provide direction for visitors to the parking garage and surface lot.

　　Monitor access for headquarters campus area, reporting all instances of unauthorized access attempts to Physical Security Manager. Issue temporary access cards to employees. Issue temporary access ID badges to employees. Interact with responding county emergency service departments. Dispatch emergency services to ESL locations as warranted.

　　Qualifications:

　　Associates degree preferred; High School education/GED required

　　2 or more years of directly related experience in security, military or law enforcement preferred

　　At least 1 year of relevant security or public safety work required or a combination of work experience and education in the criminal justice field required.

　　Flexibility to work various shifts including holidays and weekends.

　　Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

　　Must be able to obtain New York State Security Guard Certification within 6 months of employment.

　　Reliable transportation.

　　Effective oral and written communication skills.

　　Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and ability to handle multiple events under pressure.
