About Secretary - Class B

  Secretary - Class B - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE Full Time 260 days/8 hrs/day Duties: Review and process district invoices. Process district employee reimbursements. Verify payment documentation and account codes. Knowledge of check register reporting and check printing. Contact vendors for tax id, billing, and contact information. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; ability / desire to use computer for word processing, record keeping and information retrieval; good oral and written communication and organizational skills; accuracy and attention to detail; flexibility; ability / desire to work cooperatively with department, district staff and public; ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building. Preferred Qualifications: Previous accounts payable experience. Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a busy and diverse environment. Excellent customer service skills. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, GMail and Internet. Rate of pay: $18.95/hour. Insurance benefits available for assigned positions of 6 hours or more per day and 194 days per year. Start Date: ASAP after closing.
