Position Overview:
As the SEC Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely preparation of our financial statements and disclosures in compliance with SEC regulations. This position will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process, maintaining SOX compliance, and collaborating with various departments to gather relevant financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review SEC filings, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze financial data, supporting accurate and transparent financial reporting.
Manage the end-to-end financial reporting process, from data gathering to the final submission of SEC filings.
Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and SEC regulations, ensuring the company's adherence to best practices.
Lead and coordinate the implementation and maintenance of SOX compliance initiatives related to financial reporting.
Work closely with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit and quarterly reviews.
Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance on complex accounting issues related to SEC reporting.
Assist in the development and improvement of internal controls and processes related to financial reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, with a focus on SEC reporting.
Strong understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to various stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.
