Job Summary: As aSeasonal Plant Operator, you will work as part of a team to ensure theoverall successful operation of the terminal. Functions include loadingand unloading of trucks, unloading rail cars, basic maintenanceactivities, upkeep of operational documentation and maintaining standardplant operations. Employeeswill be required to participate in safety programs and engage in theemployee-owned safety culture of the facility Job Functions: Rawmaterial receiving activities (unloading rail cars, asphalt trucks,etc.) Product shipment activities (loading products into truck trailer,kettles, buggies, 5-gallon pails, etc) Manufacturing of asphalt productsMaintain required documentation regarding daily operation activityMaintain appropriate plant operations by adjusting plant equipment(pumps, valves, motors) Perform general plant facility maintenanceWillingness to abide by safety policies and adhere to thepolicies/practices Troubleshoot process issues and respond appropriatelyAssist and support plant maintenance repairs Maintain proficiency in jobresponsibilities Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent A validdriver\'s license Willingness to work flexible hours Willingness to workoutdoors Willingness to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat,safety glasses, safety work boots, gloves, etc.) Comfort level workingaround industrial piping and on elevated platforms Ability to utilizeladders and stairs to access equipment Safely lift at least 50 lbsSuccessfully pass a physical and drug test Preferred Skills Basicmechanical and/or electrical knowledge Previous production/maintenanceexperience in the refined products terminal or production facilitiesand/or oil or gas industry (Mechanical/Industrial trade school will beconsidered work experience) Proficient computer skills Able to conductdispatching duties and maintain relations with vendors Adaptable mindsetReliable Ability to succeed in team environment Who We Are: The corestrength of our business is the formulation, manufacturing, and R&D ofasphalt binders and emulsions.
