Located in Ridgefield, CT
Type of Job: 1 year contract
Schedule: M-F 1st shift
Pay: $40-$43
Job Responsibilities:
The research team supports protein biomarker discovery by applying immunoassays, cell culture, and flow cytometry.
Perform lab duties initially under supervision; participate/assist in the execution of routine and non-routine experiments.
Initiate, operate, and complete lab experiments and operate and be responsible for using lab equipment.
Communicate their work orally and in writing, provide input for scientific reports, and treat data with high integrity and ethics.
Comply with all applicable regulations, safely perform all work, and maintain proper records following SOPs and policies.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of research experience in a biology lab setting or a master's degree in a relevant scientific area, e.g., immunology, biotechnology, biochemistry, medical laboratory science.Skills:
Basic lab experience in a biology lab
Experience with ELISA
Ability to operate laboratory equipment and apparatus.
Agile in learning innovative technology and concepts
Concise and accurate reporting of technical data and information
Ability to troubleshoot.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in an immunology/biochemistry lab environment is desirable.
