Summary: The Marketing and Communications intern will support the promotion of organizational events and ongoing communications within New Vision. The Marketing and Communications intern will assist in advertising and promotional efforts which will include clerical and administrative duties, building social media campaigns and preparing promotional materials and presentations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees at all times. * Assist in planning community events and parade entries throughout the summer. * Participate in creating social media campaigns. * Assist in preparing promotional materials and presentations. * Assist with geo targeting and marketing plans. * Assist in writing newsletter articles and blogs. * Assist with creating video footage to be used in promotional campaigns. * Assist with obtaining drone images of various locations as needed. * Collect and analyze data for marketing strategies and propose adjustments to current strategies. * Supports New Vision Co-op s stated Vision, Mission, and Business Values. * Provides outstanding and courteous customer service. * Comply with safety and security policies and participate in safety training. * Read and follow New Vision employee polices. * Performs other duties as assigned.
