　　   Des Moines Public Schools is seeking School Psychologists for the 2024-2025 school year.Job Summary:School psychologists emphasize a problem-solving approach to provide direct and indirect services to resolve identified student concerns. They function as part of the multi-disciplinary team to provide expertise of child development, the psychology of learning, progress monitoring, and program evaluation.Please see attached job descripton for further information on functions of the position along with educational and experience requirements.Successful candidates for this position will possess:Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology from a NASP approved program or NCSP certificationBOEE Certification:B21 School Psychologist or Intern PsychologistIowa Department of Public Health Licensure (Psychologist)Highly Qualified Candidates for this position will possess:Experience in an urban school district.Position Details:Contract days vary by assignment7.75 hoursSalary schedule attached Candidates offered employment will be compensated based on skills, work experience and education.Des Moines Public Schools offers agenerous benefits packageincluding:IPERS
