TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Administrative/Non-BargainingOne (1) Full-time position, 260-day position.Salary: $88,443-$92,920 annually.Competitive compensation package with salary commensurate with the education and experience of the candidate. An annual contract with provisions for annual review and evaluation will be offer. A fringe benefit package is offered, which includes health, dental, vision, life, and long term disability insurances.GENERAL SUMMARY: The educator in this position will assist the Saginaw ISD Special Education and Instructional Services Departments in the coordination and oversight of School Based Mental Health Services across the Saginaw ISD and would be responsible for the oversight of mental health related grants (31n, 31p, 31aa, 31o, etc.) and Mental Health Practitioners. The person in this position must be collaborative and centered on student success. In addition to the coordination of services, this individual will be responsible for collaboration with other local, regional and state partners in order to promote robust mental health support for students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in an education-related field.One of the following credentials are required:A psychiatrist;A licensed master's level psychologist;A limited licensed master's level psychologist, under the supervision of a licensed master's level psychologist;A MDE credentialed master's level school psychologist;A licensed master's level marriage and family therapist;A licensed master's level professional counselor;A limited licensed master's level professional counselor, under the supervision of a licensed master's level professional counselor;A licensed master's level social worker;A licensed master's level school social worker; orA limited licensed master's level social worker, under the supervision of a licensed master's level social worker.```{=html}
```- School Administrator Certification or ability to obtain in 3 years, required- Knowledgeable regarding the use of positive behavior support and inclusion strategies- Possess competency in the teaching of social and self-regulation skills to school-age population- Educational background and/or work history in adverse childhood experiences, therapy, and/or crisis intervention- Training in school-based risk and threat assessments- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative manner with parents and professionals- Experience with coordination of mental health services between schools and community agencies
