Weyerhaeuser Company is currently recruiting for a Sawmill Utility for our lumber manufacturing facility located in McComb, MS. This role is key in safely maintaining the mill in an orderly fashion.

　　Key Functions:

　　Safely and effectively monitors and maintains waste systems throughout the mill.Tasks performed involve work with equipment and material that require familiarity with formal safety procedures and the following of these procedures in order to maintain the safety of the work environment.Initially this will be a day shift position with every weekend work required.May support maintenance team members with troubleshooting and repairs as necessary. Identifies and helps resolve other production flow problems.Will adhere to housekeeping standards at all times.

　　High school diploma or equivalentSelf-motivated and able to work with minimal supervisionGood decision-making skillsAble to conduct visual equipment inspections and support maintenance in troubleshooting/repairsAble to perform basic calculationsAbility to operate machinerySuccessful completion of assessment process, background check and post-offer pre-employment drug screen and physicalAble to work any shift, weekends, overtime, holidays as neededWilling to maintain housekeeping expectations as assignedAble to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, while wearing safety equipmentAble to perform all essential job functions, which includes lifting 2-20 pounds regularly, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, climb steps and ladders, and standing or walking for 2-3 hours at a time for 10 hours*Resume detailing education and work history required *
