We are hiring immediately for a Satellite Ground Systems Operations Engineerto join our Missions Control System (MCS) team. This positionis located inWestminster CO and has the ability to work remotely a few times a week and inthe office the other days. The MCS Ops Engineers are responsible for supportof the Ground System that operates the Maxar's Earth Intelligence spacecraftconstellation. This role also supports design, development, integration,and testing of Maxar's next generation spacecraft. In this role, you willwork as part of multi-disciplinary teams that include system engineers,software developers, spacecraft system engineers and the spacecraft operations

What you'll do day-to-day (with your colleagues):
Support Worldview Legion launch and early operations (LEOP) and Worldview1-3 and GeoEye-1 sustainment operations by monitoring and troubleshooting theGround System.
Perform necessary troubleshootingat the application code and cloudinfrastructure levels.
Share on-call, Tier 3 operationssupport with the backup of the softwaredevelopers.
For the best design and implementation of the satellite ground system,collaborate with product owners, system engineers, softwareengineers,spacecraft operators,aerospace engineers,remote ground stationengineersand IT engineers.
Utilize monitoring and alarming to ensure system are operating nominally orteams respond quickly to anomalies.
Work in a broad technical scope, primarily with software,usinganalysis ofdata and logs.
Minimum requirements for this position:
Must be a U.S. citizenand be willing and able to obtain U.S. GovernmentSecretsecurity clearance
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.Fouryears of additionalexperience may be substituted for a degree
Minimum of2years oftroubleshootingsoftware
Expertise in Unix and scrip ing languages (e.g.,Python, Bash)
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot software systems
