ABOUT THE ROLE: Comcast seek a talented SAP Architecture (Basis with HANA DB) with 10+ years to join our growing team supporting Corporate Business Solutions. The Sr. SAP Architecture is responsible for critical aspects of SAP functions including installation, configuration, upgrades, capacity/resource planning, performance tuning, backup and recovery strategy, promoting process improvement, problem solving, adhering to security policies and managing clusters of SAP eco-systems. Experience is required for end-to-end production data to development/test environments, and application optimization including query optimization. The candidate must have SAP Basis and HANA Database hands-on experience along with below aspects. • Demonstrates knowledge of in-depth understanding of SAP product life cycle, designs and architects' projects through design, implementation, including establishing and enforcing standards with decision making capabilities should include a strong capability to analyze and implement all details of SAP architecture. • Demonstrates knowledge of strategic thinking (design), systems development and integration skills in SAP. • Has a good understanding of overall business and attained advanced industry-standard certifications in SAP. • Has capacity for mentoring others on the team, exhibiting influence on leading project teams, emulates curiosity and innovation. • Takes proactive initiative on SAP projects with a strong sense of ownership. • Has a demonstrated track record of in-depth technical exposure and successful project delivery; decision making capabilities should include a strong capability to establish and lead all details of design and architecture.

　　Job Description

　　REQUIREMENTS:

　　Minimum of a 4-year IT related degree.

　　10+ years of experience in both SAP Basis and HANA (HANA 2.0) production systems design, development and production support activities in Abap & Java systems.

　　Provide hands-on design and development of the SAP Basis Administration for SAP ERP, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Web Dispatcher and HANA.

　　Demonstrated experience in SAP HANA database administration using - Linux, Red Hat and SUSE Linux and in the AWS cloud.

　　Oracle (Oracle 12c/Oracle 19c) SQL Server and SAP IQ experience are a plus.

　　Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery and HSR processes in on-prem and AWS Cloud environments

　　Must have been part of teams that have upgraded and or migrated DBs from on-prem to Cloud.

　　Must understand Cloud Storage, file systems and BACKINT processes

　　Deep Knowledge of database technologies and practices

　　Knowledge of database trends and tools

　　Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

　　Ability to work well under pressure; manage tight deadlines and situations where conflicting priorities arise

　　Maintain DB stability: backups/restores; monitor disk allocations; troubleshoot performance issues; reorg tables/indexes; parameter changes; monitor overall utilization.

　　Plan DB changes within the framework of the Service Now change management procedures. Ensure audit information is collected as needed for change tickets.

　　Define and collect audit information for the review by Internal and external auditors.

　　Provide daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports describing activities accomplished in a timely manner.

　　Develop and maintain Knowledge articles for standard work.

　　Experience with Linux Server and with deployments to the AWS environment or other Cloud environments.

　　Willing to be part of support 24x7 Technical support team.

　　PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Minimum of a 4-year IT related degree and 10+ years of SAP (Basis with HANA DB) design & development, production systems administration and technical support activities with Abap & Java systems.

　　Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools

　　Ability to design, code and script

　　Experience with systems and IT operations

　　Strong grasp of automation tools

　　Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
