This position is in the Supply Chain Order Management and Fulfillment Systems organization, which creates competitive advantage for the company by reengineering and integrating end-to-end order management and supply chain systems implementing industry best IT solutions.
As a member of this global IT team, you will work in a highly dynamic, fast changing and fluid work environment, working across multiple time zones. You will contribute technical and business knowledge expertise to design, develop, and implement integrated IT / business solutions focused primarily on the SAP suite of applications. Effectively work across organizations to drive appropriate business / IT solutions; view alternatives from an end-to-end order management & supply chain perspective and understand the broader implications of technical and business-related choices. Candidate needs BOTH project management and SAP SD years of experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Sales and Distribution technical / functional experienced developer, you will have the following responsibilities:
Lead and participate in projects and global initiatives to contribute to the technical and functional design, development and implementation of IT solutions related to Order Management (SAP SD - Sales & Distribution), and related supply chain processes
Analyze functional requirements and translate into efficient technical solutions that meet those requirements following documented technical development standards and best practices
Collaborate across businesses and IT to ensure that technical design meets the business requirements and IT strategy on Order Management & SD processes and standards
Analyze business requirements and configure SAP systems to meet the overall design
Work with functional architect and / or functional designer to ensure that technical design meets the overall architecture for the solution
Participate in project architecture review to ensure the design meets the overall program / project requirements
End to End project management from initiation to closer
Maintains complete autonomy for the management of the project to meet the needs of the business, as outlined in the business case and articulated by the steering committee
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business Management or related field is a minimum or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience.
PMP Certification a plus
Knowledge and Skills:
Required:
High level of experience in SAP R/3 Sales and Distribution
Several years of proven experience in configuring SAP solutions in SAP SD/LE module covering creation of Enterprise Structure, Order types, Item Categories, Pricing, Delivery, Shipment, Handling Unit, Billing, and Workflow processing
Several years of proven experience in SAP ABAP workbench, ABAP programming language and debugging including reports, interfaces, SAP scripts, user-exits and enhancements, dialogue programming, object oriented ABAP, performance tuning, BAPI, BADI, Workflow..
Sound understanding of SAP extension technologies
Very good understanding of standard SAP Integration techniques (like ALE IDOCs, XI/PI RFC, Data loads, EDI, Flat file, BDCs...)
Understanding of project management methodologies
Fluent in English both in written and oral
Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills
Excellent in analyzing business requirements and translating into IT design and detail sizing
Experience in development life cycle, release management and quality management process
Demonstrated technical leadership skills
Work effectively in geographically dispersed teams
Experience in business operations and process engineering, in particular in Supply Chain Management
Experience with Supply Chain IT solutions
Knowledge of other SAP modules - FI/CO, MM/PP, WM, GTS and APO
Experience with SAP retail solutions would be a plus
Knowledge of SAP Basis and SAP technology stack and key NetWeaver components, especially SAP XI
Experience with Java and ABAP development
Experience with SAP Script programming
Experience with SAP upgrades and HANA migration
Experience in using project tools such as JIRA/Testrail
High level of experience in Project Management:

Experienced with Microsoft Project
Experience in using project tools such as Quality Center/ALM; Microsoft Server
