About SAP Cutover Consultant

  Introduction

  As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.

  Your Role and Responsibilities

  This position provides expert level support to war room operations and resources. Position supports the Command team with business process guidance on SAP requirements and implementation, working closely with functionals and Command team to deliver to the client. Position also supports administrative needs (i.e. meeting minutes, reporting, documentation). This position will support the planning and management of complex projects involving multiple applications, business processes. This position will support the Command Lead, executing cutover activities and schedule. Requires strong organization and communication skills and knowledge of SAP functional areas.

  This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher

  Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  4 or more years knowledge of or exposure to SAP and relevant financial or supply chain business processes.

  Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.

  Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise; an Associates Degree together with two (2) years of documented relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelors Degree.

  This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher

  Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP preferred

  Federal experience (DoD experience preferred)

  The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
