  Job Summary

  The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a SAP Business Systems Support Analyst, experienced in SAP functional systems analysis and enterprise-wide business process analysis and design.

  The Financial Systems/Business Systems Support team's mission is to plan, implement, and maintain system solutions for the Office of Business Operations and the Chief Financial Officer. To accomplish our mission, we identify opportunities to modernize and maintain various systems, respond effectively to the changing needs of the organization, and reduce and eliminate inefficiencies in our business processes.

  As a Business Systems Support Analyst, you'll collaborate closely with our internal customers and Enterprise Information Services (IT) partners to identify process inefficiencies, come up with solutions to enhance process, rollout improvements by managing projects to their successful completion.

  Work Model

  This position has the option to be fully remote anywhere within the United States.

  What You'll Be Doing

  The Business Systems Support Analyst develops, enhances, designs, analyzes, and monitors automated business systems and processes for internal customers in Payroll and Finance. Primary duties, responsibilities and activities of this role include:Providing a wide range of technical and financial consulting relating to integrated business systemsAssessing user needs and the ability of current business systems to meet those needsTroubleshooting and resolving functional business systems issuesSupporting existing and future business systems, including enhancements and replacements; representing and supporting organizations in the selection and implementation of business systems and projectsAutomating manual business systems; recommending simplification and streamlining of business systems and procedures; utilizing integrated systems resources to enhance current business practicesPerforming special analyses, research, and assignments related to business systems and making recommendations based on findingsDeveloping and maintaining systems to track financial and business performance.Assisting and training business system users on system analysis and reporting capabilities; preparing and presenting briefings relating to new and enhanced system capabilitiesTo meet the evolving needs of our customers and organization, these duties, responsibilities, and activities may change over time, or new ones may be assigned as needed.

  What You Need to be Successful

  Minimum Requirements:Education: Bachelors degree in relevant field of studySeven or more years of relevant SAP systems and business analysis experienceStrong functional knowledge around Human Capital Management (HCM)/Payroll systems and labor posting processesKnowledge of accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation practiceHands-on experience with SAP configuration in SAP Payroll or FICODeep knowledge of SAP configuration elements, payroll clusters, transactions, tables, user interface, and system testing/troubleshooting techniquesExperience with ERP business information system improvement best practices, standards, and methodologiesExperience in eliciting, analyzing, and challenging business requirements; documenting user stories; and researching solution optionsDemonstrated skills in design and documentation of functional specifications, test plans and scripts, job aids and training materialsComfortable presenting frequent solution demonstrations to product owners, business users, and agile team members to solicit feedbackStrong organizational skills with an ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and projects at one timeAbility and willingness to travel domestically as neededHow You Can Stand Out

  It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:Operational experience in payroll or finance areas in addition to systems experienceKnowledge of principles and practices of payroll and personnel administrationSAP security experienceDirect experience participating on Agile/Scrum system development teamsProficient with Jira or similar agile software development toolsKnowledge or experience with governmental labor posting practicesWe offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.

  (Min - Mid - Max)

  $100,805 - $120,403 - $140,000

  Pay Basis: Annual
