Job Summary
Under close supervision, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of theFood and Nutrition Services department including ware washing, pots andpans, floors, floor drains, trash, cardboard compacting, and othercleaning tasks as assigned. Assist with soiled tray removal from patient roomsand designated soiled utility closets. Follows and implements HACCPguidelines. Complies with regulatory agency requirements.
Essential Functions:Clean, sanitize, dry patient, retail, and production dishes,utensils, pots and pans according to approved processes.Assist in emptying trash bins throughout the department and remove trash atthe end of each shift including breaking down cardboard and properly usingcarboard bailer.Maintain a clean and sanitary work station. Completes all cleaning duties perthe master cleaning schedule or as assigned.Monitor supply volumes and informs supervisors when supplies are getting lowor equipment is not working properly.
Education:High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience:Less than 1 year
Licenses:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to handle multiple priorities at one timeAble to move with a sense of urgency and work in a fast-paced environment.Able to communicate effectively
