Beachwalk Resort and Vacation Rentals in Michigan City, Indiana and New Buffalo, Michigan is seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to add to our dynamic summer team. We are a small business with a big role, managing over 100 vacation rental homes in the premiere South Shore Lake Michigan destination. Our homes are situated on and near the beach in idyllic resort style communities.

　　Housekeeper General DescriptionSchedules are semi-flexible, weekends required. Will be Responsible for cleaning interior of the vacation rental homes. Providing tidy, sanitary amenities for guests.The duties include cleaning floors, making beds, laundry, dishes, dusting surfaces throughout the homes, restocking supplies. Reports on any damage inside the homes.

　　This position requires attention to detail, physical strength and a good personality. Perform deep cleans when required. Travel between jobs. Located in and around Michigan City, IN.As we grow there is a possibility to move up in the company with the right attitude and commitment. General DutiesClean Vacation Rental Properties and maintain home or facility appearance.Clean kitchen, living room, dining room, bathrooms, dusting, mopping, sweeping, etc.Keeps public access areas clean and maintains them according to employer standards.Monitors and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies. Keeps housekeeping storage room in a neat and organized fashion.Reports any maintenance concerns or repairs to supervisor. This is not an encompassing list; job duties may change at any time. Job RequirementsExperience: Some previous work-related experiencePrevious Housekeeping or Residential Experience a plusReliable TransportationAble to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 30lbsOperate as part of a larger Team, we all work togetherFollows all standard operating procedures for cleanliness, sanitation, safety and securityOrganize work schedule from the property status list, arrivals and departuresUpdates status of property cleaned on the assigned systemDispose of trash in a sanitary manner Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working conditionSmartphone savvyReliable transportation to and from offices and housekeeping assignments Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
