  Summary: 

  As a Sanitation worker, you will maintain a high level of Food Safety and Product Quality through the cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment, utensils, and facility.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Maintain cleaning and sanitation in accordance with the company Master Sanitation Program

  Utilize chemicals and cleaning agents to clean and sanitize processing area walls, floor, and equipment

  Utilize refuse and sanitation tools in a proper and safe manner

  Removal of debris from processing area

  Communicate chemicals supply levels to management

  Observe and record facility conditions to ensure all areas are within company and regulatory specifications

  Verify the adequacy of cleaning and sanitation performed on areas and equipment and complete and sign off on appropriate forms

  Document actions taken in response to unsatisfactory observations on Equipment, Utensils, and/or Process Area conditions

  Complete testing when applicable

  Maintain plant safety

  Maintain and proper use of equipment

  Work independently with minimal supervision

  Provide back up support for other duties as needed

  Become certified as an electric pallet jack and forklift operator

  Perform other duties as assigned

  Physical requirements: 

  Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50/100 pounds

  What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

  Preferred

  Experience with the utilization of sanitation tools and chemicals, food safety, and the safe operation of fork lifts and powered pallet jacks

  Salary Range: $ 15.00 - $17.00 Hourly 

  Total Compensation:
