Your mission will be to: Job Overview: Theincumbent is responsible for sample entry, assignment of test codes,expedient release of sample to operations for analysis and laboratoryshipping. Job Duties lReceive and log in sample in preparation foranalysis. Review sample and any attached documentation to assign anidentification number and enter information into Laboratory InformationManagement System (LIMS). Prepare documentation as necessary. lContactclient, when necessary, to obtain and clarify missing or unclearinformation to ensure that identification of client code, test code, andsample contents are accurate. lStore samples in appropriate manner untilanalysis is completed and appropriately dispose of extra samples. Ensuresample integrity is maintained. lPrepare packages for pick up byshipping vendors. Follow appropriate procedures to send packages andmaintain all related documentation. lPrepare sample to be shipped toother testing facilities when necessary. Complete appropriatedocumentation and file accordingly. lMay assist client service personnelwith the development of customized client reports.
