BACK-END JAVA AWS DEVELOPER – W2 ONLY

　　Hybrid, Reston, VA (Reston Town Center)

　　Contract to hire.

　　Hourly rate: $60/hr. range

　　JOB DESCRIPTION:

　　The senior software developer is expected to deliver following responsibilities:

　　• Design and implement complex software solutions to meet business's evolving needs.

　　• Use a process-driven approach in designing and developing solutions.

　　• Implement new software technology and coordinate end-to-end tasks across the team.

　　• Maintain existing software with enhancements and defect fixes.

　　MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCES

　　• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or science related fields

　　• Expert knowledge in JAVA and SQL (3+ years)

　　• Experience with Java open-source frameworks and libraries

　　• AWS technology skills (2+ years)

　　• Excellent critical thinking skills and strong verbal & written communication skills

　　• Capable of working both independently and with others as a team

　　DESIRED EXPERIENCE

　　• Knowledge of Source Control, Unit Testing, GIT and Maven (or Gradle)

　　• Experience in using following Java open-source frameworks or libraries.

　　• Spring framework (including Spring Cloud), Hibernate.

　　• Apache Commons, HTTP Client, HTTP Core, Xerces

　　• Log4j, SLF4j, Jackson

　　• AWS-SDK

　　• Experience with AWS technology

　　• AWS EC2, Elastic Load Balancer, AWS ECS, AWS Batch, AWS Lambda, AWS RDS and AWS S3, CloudWatch, AWS Step Functions, SQS, SNS

　　• AWS CodeCommit, CodePipeline, AMI for Docker, ECR

　　• AWS CLI, AWS IAM

　　• Exposure to unit test frameworks

　　• JUnit, Mockito

　　• Experience with Docker, Angular (or React)

　　• Practical knowledge of SRE, Splunk

　　SKILLS

　　• Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages: Java, etc.

　　• Skilled in cloud technologies offered by AWS.

　　• Experience using software architectural principles to integrate enterprise software applications and frameworks.

　　TOOLS

　　• IDE: IntelliJ or Eclipse

　　• Source control: Bitbucket or GitLab

　　• Java open-source frameworks

　　• Cloud computing and cloud technologies

　　• DB client software, e.g.: DBVisualizer or DBeaver

　　• Web Services client software, e.g.: Postman

　　MUST HAVE SKILLS
