Applytoday! LOCATION: Beloit, Wisconsin BASE RATE PER HOUR: \$22.50 SHIFT:2nd HOURS: Generally, starts as early as 2:45 PM until finish. Overtimeand weekend work as needed. Starting times and hours may vary dependingon coverage due to report-offs and the production schedule especiallyduring holidays. Good attendance and punctuality required. GENERALSUMMARY: The Salty Processing Operator, under general supervision, isresponsible for the safe, efficient and continuous operation ofprocessing machinery. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES o Operates theprocessing/ equipment to produce product within guidelines establishedby Quality Assurance and to the highest possible standard of quality. oProperly mixes ingredients; monitors correct temperature/moisture andmakes adjustments accordingly; monitors product and removes any productthat is improperly formed or overlapped. o Operates and shuts downequipment in the processing/ area in accordance with establishedprocedures to include change overs and preventative maintenance. oCommunicates and/or escalates quality issues to appropriate teammembers. o Reads and understands batch sheets including followingrecipes and accurate weighing of raw materials. o Monitors and logscurrent temperatures, mix times item numbers and raw material weights(piece weights of extruded product) and make adjustments accordingly. oMonitors for possible foreign matter. o Follows sanitation proceduresfor clean ups and change overs, including chemical handling. o Tracksand disposes of waste accordingly. o Moves raw ingredients usingmaterial handling equipment including but not limited to forklift and/orpallet jack. o Maintains proper raw material levels at all times, unloadraw materials trailer, and keeps appropriate personnel updated in rawmaterial needs. o Maintains inventory usage and proper disposal ofcutter blades. Responsible for securing blades at all times and keepingUrschel Heads running efficiently. o Tests and receives new oil; treat,filter and test used oil.
